Q: When does it run?
A:Approximately 3 Saturday evenings per month. (Jan-Nov)
Q: What time?
A: Busses start pick-ups @ 16:30 and finish drop-offs @ 23:00. The program itself runs from 18-20:00.
Q: Where is it held?
A: Surrey Christian Life Assembly.
Q: What does it cost?
A: In-house events are FREE 95% of the time. Outing (Waterslides/Swimming/Lazer Tag/Etc) prices vary depending on the event. Information is on our calendar, given during the previous events, at the time of phone calls (Thursday/Friday) and is avaliable on the MKS Hotline (604-812-7178).
Q: Who can come?
A: The program is designed for pre-teens grades 5-8 but parents are welcome to come and keep an eye on their children if they so wish.
Q: How can I get my child picked up?
A: Call 604-812-7178 and leave your name, phone number and address. We'll add you to our lists and pick your pre-teen(s) up for our next program.
Q: How do I know if I'm on the lists?
A: You'll recieve a phone call on the Thursday or Friday before each program.
Q: I understand ConnXion opens a concession stand after the program is over. What's the deal with that?
A: We provide no money or coupons to your children. They will need to bring their own money for food.
Q: What does a typical program look like?
A: At 16:30 the bus & van go out // They arrive back at SCLA at 18:30 // At 18:30 the rules are reviewed and then the games are played immediately following // At 19:00 a short time of live worship music starts // A time of Biblical teaching begins at 19:30 and a time for response is given right after // The pre-teens are released to play any number of games which are set up in and around the church grounds // At 21:00 the vehicles are loaded up again and drop-offs begin. // The last person is aimed to be dropped off by 23:30.
